Separating The Articles From The Blog
Welcome back, feel free to comment!
One of the recommended strategies in article marketing is to have the articles on your own site first before submitting it to the article directories.
Previously, if you check my blog… I place all my articles and thus, it kind of cluttered up my actual blog content. While the 2 can usually be linked together, there is a subtle difference between articles and blogs.
Articles tend to be informative and sometimes, quite formal.
Blog posts on the other hand, other than being informative, can be rather informal as well as providing larger attachments to files.
By formal and informal, I mean the use of specific words and terms that only the blog might understand due to its history or knowledge of the site.
Without separating the two, users might get confused as to what is really going on. So therefore, I made a separate entity on my site specifically only for articles – either written by me or outsourced.
How this benefits people is they get a much “tighter” feel as to what my blog can provide.
The reason why I did this was because I got some feedback from a few friends and they made a comment that while the content was good… it wasn’t really helping me. There was no central focus on what I was providing.
I realized that was true.
So articles I use for generating traffic will be placed on a separate section of this site (while still getting indexed as the point of origin) and the blog will have much better and stronger posts.

Hi Asher,
This has been brought up to many forums and there are number of people doing different ways. I like to do as the same way you do. I've been missing you blog for a while and I think I will be back more often.
Thanks
Kha
I usually use write a post first then create another general information article about the post and submit it to article site.
Hello Kha,
Yes, it has been brought up many times but I finally decided to take the step of faith and just do it. Hope to see you around more often too =)
Asher
There are many ways to do it – but thanks for sharing your way of doing it =)

I learned something new here. I just made a quick decision to continue my own article marketing versus adding the articles to my site. Thank you.
You're very welcome, Gerlaine. =)

Hey Kha,
You're right. I'm not as busy as before =)
… well, that's how it looks like over here. I've been a little occupied with a couple of other projects =D

Hi Asher,
Would you like to tell me which project are you doing if you don't mind so I can learn from you?
Thanks
Kha
Currently, it’s still in the building process. But it’ll be in the personal development/self help niche.
It’s something I’m testing out and hopefully it works out nicely. =)
I’ll keep you up to date, Kha. Will send you an email or something when it’s up

In my first visit on this site i found it very informative. The strategy of article marketing seems very effective. I will try to follow that.
You said right my friends that Article tend should be informative and quite formal. I think your strategy will help to improve the article marketing.
I'm basically using the photo to help lead into the article that's hosted at the magazine's site, so if anything I'm generating traffic for that magazine (a good thing from their perspective, I think), but technically speaking, I'm using their photo without permission.
I just want to make sure I'm not stepping on any toes. Also, if this is out of line with legal guidlines, can I realistically expect any legal action when I'm basically helping their traffic? I'm not slamming the articles or anything, and I'm not substituting or plagarising their work – really just adding a few comments to introduce the article.

Hi.. Search for 'recent posts widget' and get the html code. Use this code to refer to the recent posts from your blog from another site. http://www.itsteekays.blogspot.com/
The only way would be to copy and paste it all in to microsoft word or. Print it and check the button that prints all pages linked to that page.
