How To Do SEO For My Site?

It’s 9AM. My phone rang… “Hello?”, I croaked. Apparently, my voice isn’t that well acquainted with morning calls.

A friend of mine called me and asked about his site – he’s in the Forex market and he wanted to know “How do I do SEO for my site?”

Here’s my answer: “When you want to do SEO, there are basically 2 things you need to do – optimize your own site and create links back to your site.”

SEO: Page Rank Has Returned

A couple of days back, I posted an article about the disappearance of page rank from my site totally.

My site has been eagerly waiting in vain for about 3 months when I decided to let go of the guaranteed source of revenue.

I logged in as usual and found that there has been a slight increase to my blog for certain keywords and phrases – I checked out my page rank and yes, it has returned.

My main site went from 0 to 1 and my blog went from 0 to 3.

Main Culprit Of Page Rank Disappearing

Page Rank Is Gone?

My site started from a page rank of zero (as do all sites in the beginning) and quickly rose to a page rank (PR) of 3 in 3 months time.

After a Google update, it went down to PR 2 and sunk down to PR 0. Initially, I thought this was just a Google dance and it’ll be back up later but it never came back.
