An amateur is defined as someone who does something without formal training and usually, not for monetary purposes or gain. It’s not to demean or say that amateurs don’t know what they’re doing, a lot of amateurs really do have some skills.
The difference is the amount of time and dedication to learning about how to properly do internet marketing. Whilst an amateur may want to improve his or her skill in internet marketing because he thinks it’s going to be something useful, a professional would dedicate time and energy into studying the exact skills that he needs to succeed.
An expert is a person who has extensive knowledge about the subject at hand. A professional is the same as an expert except that he’s making a living from it.
