Andy’s Story

Andy, 38, has been learning how to make money online for about 5 years. He has paid about $2,000 up front to a “guru” who promised to teach him the secrets and strategies that he knows so that he can make money for himself as well. 4 years down the road, he has been actively using article marketing and blogging and he made about $960 in the last 6 months (that works out to about $5.34 per day).

He carries on what he does and sometimes, when he makes a little bit more money, he uses the extra money to give his family a nice dinner treat.

He also tells people that he has been making money online and he freely shares his advice with people around him – whenever they ask him. He enjoys helping people in whatever way he can.

Andy works as a full time clerk while building his online business.

Jeremy’s Story

In the first year ever since he learned about the possibility of making money online, Jeremy, 23, has spent countless hours on his online business. He often spends late nights learning all the tricks about internet marketing. Having little to no money, he goes on a rampage and seeks out whatever information that he can find online.

He keeps learning and applying whatever knowledge that he learns online -  he believes he will be able to make more money than what most people his age is earning.

8 months in his first year, he is making about $20 per month. He pushes on and continues to pursue his dream… whatever money he makes online, he reinvests back into buying quality products which he knows will equip him with more knowledge.

What Is The Determining Factor To Be Successful?

Now, both Andy and Jeremy are but 2 examples of people who have been trying to make money on the internet but did not have any significant success… yet.

While Andy builds his regularly over the years and has a predictable online income, he doesn’t pursue to increase it because he’s comfortable where he is right now.

Jeremy, on the other hand, wants success and is hungry for it. He works hard and in a short period of time, he manages to make some money. Whatever money he makes, he puts it back into reinvested knowledge so he can improve himself.

If you were to challenge me on who I’d bet to make more money a year from now, I’ll place my bets on Jeremy.

So, what is the main determining factor? Hunger.

How hungry are you about making money? How hungry are you for your own personal success?

There are people who made some income online but they are comfortable with what they are getting so they don’t pursue a higher income. There are people who makes some money and they reinvest their earnings into more products because they want to learn more.

When you’re not hungry for success…

  • You don’t feel like working harder
  • There’s no need to work hard when everything’s cool
  • You’ve no worries for money because if you don’t make money online, you’ve still got a job that can pay you (like Andy).
  • There’s no need to take any risks
  • You are comfortable where you are at

There are people who are actually comfortable being poor – yes, that is the truth.

While Andy may become successful over time, I believe Jeremy will reach there much faster. If you are not hungry for success, you’ll be comfortable where you are. And if you’re comfortable where you are – it’s hard for you to push to the next level of financial success.
