If I knew ahead of time that I’ll be in front of many people then I need time to prepare, write down on paper and just read what’s on the paper, this way I’ll be fine, otherwise my brain will be empty.

I would say it takes practice, Kha. Starting with a few people (like I did) is 100% okay. In time, if you practice speaking to more people, you might be able to speak in front of lots of people! I've given training sessions and spoken to packed classes numerous times, have also performed on stage to huge crowds. But I've also trained a small handful of people and performed to a few.
