Want To Kill Your Own Online Business?
Most people do not want to murder their own online home based business but they keep on doing so anyway. They do it believing that it helps their business but the truth is that it is like plunging a knife into the heart of their business.
The worst thing is, they do not know that they are slowly twisting and turning the blade each time that they go back to repeat the same things.
In this article, you will learn how an online business can be killed by it’s own owner.
1. Communications Choke
Communication is critically vital to your online business because the internet allows you to have business connections with anyone around the world.
The problem lies in that most people end up spending most of their time checking their emails, their instant messengers, et cetera that they do not do anything productive!
Designate an hour each time to do communications and when the time is up – drop it, leave it! Get back to doing what is productive!
2. Statistic Suicide
Do you like checking in on your web site statistics? How about comparing yours with a fellow competitor?
Guess what, you commit suicide each time you get engrossed in such an activity.
The first thing a lot of people do is to go and check their affiliate stats and they get disappointed when they see that they did not make a sale. Talk about getting started on the wrong foot.
Stats checking is fine but before doing that, ask yourself if you did anything prior? If you did nothing productive at all the day before and you check your stats, guess what? You are not going to be seeing a whole new world of difference.
3. Education Addiction
This is one of the surest ways to kill your online business.
Do not ever get stuck on learning how to build your business and end up not building it at all!
Thousands and thousands of people spend thousands and thousands (that’s a lot of thousands) of dollars learning how to do online marketing strategies but when they are finished with it, they head over to the next course.
This gives people the false sense of hope that by having more knowledge and preparation, there will be a huge improvement in success.
While I strongly believe in personal education and constantly updating oneself, I do not believe in being so immersed in it that you forget about using it on your own business!
